  1. Many players inside Red Battlefield are cheating, abusing the participation rewards by going "afk". It's not the players actually go "afk". They stay inside the safe zone moving just enough to avoid the automatic inactivity kick. This creates a huge imbalance on the teams, and it is becoming more popular as the players frustration grows. What worries me more is the posts I've seen on some groups, instruction manuals on how to automate this task using the xbox/ps4 remote play. There are videos of players queueing the same server over and over overnight for the participation rewards. What I propose is a way to make sure the players don't abuse the participation rewards by tweaking a feature that is already there, the battlefield points. For a player to earn the participation rewards, the player must end the match with over 30 points. To motivate players to be persistent and keep fighting despite the score, the maximum participation rewards could increase by 20% if the difference between enemy and allied points is less than 20% of the winning team points. How would it work? In Red Battlefield each person starts with 10 points by default. Killing a player with higher points gives you a higher point reward, while killing a player with low points will gives you a lower point reward. As long as players keep participating the total number of points always increases. As it is now Everyone gets participation rewards. Winners get 6,000,000 silver, Losers get 4,000,000 silver. How it could be tweaked Participation rewards increase by 20% if teams score difference is less than 20% of the winning team points (i.e redDesertScore=5000 - blackDesertScore=4001) Winners get 6,000,000 silver, Losers get 4,000,000 silver. OR Winners get 7,200,000 silver, Losers get 4,800,000 For a player to be eligible for rewards the player must end the match with over 30 points. Why? Red Battlefield is competitive match between two teams of maximum 30 players. Each player has 20 minutes to earn at least 30 points to be eligible for rewards. Fights with huge numbers are always the best, if both teams are doing their best to win the difference in points is low and both teams get better rewards Only open red battlefield should get changes, fixed gear score battlefield could remain the same. What could go wrong? If you are not strong enough, you might not get the points required to earn the participation rewards. You should queue the fixed gear score battlefield.
  2. Rbf is ruined. Its no longer an issue of gs difference but how many bots occupy a team. If you're in a team filled with afk bots you're simply overrun by the other team. Before the crossover it was people who just join and afk, now theyre more sophisticated and probably using some 3rd party software to do random actions or loop walking while afk. This is a problem. This has to stop.
  3. There are more and more players going afk in rbf for the money, the current system is not working. What could be done about it?
  4. Howdy, Y’all and a Great Big: YEEE HAAAAW! I’m here to bring you some of best Rodeo Feedback you will ever read, your eyes might just melt from all the action! But first, a story. One day a lonely Cowboy was traveling, a Nomad if I may. Vast deserts covered the land as did lush, dark forests and towering cities of Stone and Steel alike. Finally, there it was. The perfect homestead, the most positive and active citizens of an entire realm! B A L E N O S ! It was to be his home, the Cowboy could finally settle. The Red Battlefield has been our Rodeo since. The fights can be one-sided, the teams can be unbalanced and the Champions Over Powered, but it’s home. It’s OUR Sport. The people of Balenos took action and made it theirs. Guideliness —————————— 1. NO Afk 2. NO Entering Spawn 3. Avoid CampLock to avoid Spawn Camp Methods include : Use Defenders for your spawn for their ONE Responsibility. Don’t go past designated zones of your choosing. 4. Drop as a group 5. Stay in groups 6. Use Team Fight Tactics 7. Respect the other team 8. COMMUNICATION through Team Chat We at Rodeo Management want to suggest these guidelines. We cannot and will not tell you that you have to. We know the difference between Sportsmanship-played-matches and those that are not. Our Top Priority is to share this amazing spectacle with you! Oh, I almost forgot... Remember, It’s YOUR Rodeo Too! - Kaniso, Balenos’ Resident Cowboy
  5. Hello, Community! During my time in the Rodeo(RBF) I have met many Champions of BDO! It’s always an amazing experience and different each time. The One constant, though, is people ask for different maps in rotation or alternative game modes. The map is unbalanced for Consoles, but by adding a different scoring system it could fix it. Anyone that has had a hardcore match might agree a MOBA setup(with the current playable Champions as they are coded) would be fun. A 10v10 capturing zones to push for the Key Location (DoTA and LoL setups.) Capture the Flag or Capture the Hill are also valid. Point-in-hand, the issue right now is the point system almost encourages CampLocking. But, there is so much room for growth. See Y’all in the Rodeo! -Kaniso , Balenos’ Resident Cowboy
  6. This Rodeo has been a blast! We need community members to actively participate in Sportsmanship. What is Sportsmanship/Showmanship? It is all the qualities that make a great Champion, Cowdets! No spawn camping, in or directly around the spawn/safe zone. Some people need time to render graphics, this enhances the Rodeo Experience! Back off Spawn Area after a good push. It’s hard to back off when you have the winning score, however, when it happens to you what do you feel? Probably anger, anxiety, hopeless. They do as well, at least, I do! Positive attitude carries the community! If you use less negative comments, it will keep the chat and gameplay more lively. Like the old saying, “Don’t use the bathroom where you eat!” Lastly, personal participation. The Pearl Abyss Team cannot Police everyone all the time. This is YOUR Rodeo too! If you see bullying or hurtful gameplay going on, say something. Usually just by speaking up you can alter someone’s actions, they understand it was wrong. In closing, the Red Battlefield is the most intense PvP action you can have, it rewards you and you don’t lose Karma! If you take the reins you can steer this Bull! See you in the Rodeo!
