BrokenAzs posted a topic in Guild RecruitmentWhether you like scenic speed running out of jail, making millions to turn the tide of a siege, zerging gankers, or slaying afk players for fun than <Trash Pandas> is for you. We'd like to formally invite you to join us for the open beta as well as game launch. If you are interested in becoming a dominating force in PvP content, learning all about BDO and enjoying your time online, please post your gamer tag or message me on Xbox (Brokenaz5) Did I mention we'll have boats? Discord; https://discord.gg/PpfSPS5 Xbox Club; Trash Pandas BDO ------------------------------------------- What to expect from Trash Pandas ------------------------------------------- High Activity - Whether defending guildies in the open world, sieging castles/nodes, groups for grinding bosses, or making bank doing mercenary work, there will be no shortage of excitement. Frequent Contract Promotions - As the game and guild progress, we will offer ever increasing rates for guild contracts. Flexibility - Although we will require participation, we understand life happens and can cause time away from BDO. As long as it is properly communicated we shouldn't have a problem. Tournaments and Prizes - We will regularly host dueling/3v3 tournaments, open world pvp contests, bounty kills for enemy guilds and much more. ------------------------------------------- What Trash Pandas expects from you ------------------------------------------- Loyalty - Guild first. There will be no other code of conduct beyond that. Progress - Guildies will need to push to reach 50+ as fast as possible, as well as getting decently geared quickly. Knowledge - BDO is an extremely in depth and detailed game. Players will be expected to be willing to learn and have a base level of information. There are tons of amazing guides and we are here to help. Commitment - Seiges, node wars, guild questing, worker contributions, etc will be required activities, and guildies will be judged heavily on dedication and contributions towards our goals. Communication - We dont expect everyone to use the Discord/club all the time, but when we are at war, sieging, etc microphones are mandatory. When a guild member asks for help or asks a question, responding is expected if you are available. Don't be a Care Bear; be a Trash Panda.
Pearl Abyss, Now that the dust has settled behind what was an amazing beta, I wanted to express my opinions on what I see around the community. We just recently got the post-beta video showing us updates that the game has received and it's amazing to see our feedback for the beta have real actions on the game we want to play. The communication during the beta was amazing, the CM staff, the developers, everyone in the community working together to report and give feedback. It really was something that you rarely see in a community. Words having an impact on what happens. Both sides working towards making BDX the best thing it can be. But that highlights the real issue... The community has constantly been kept in the dark about real information for the game. We all played the beta, we all have read every news post that the CM's have posted. We watched the trailer where the game was announced early 2018, read the interview with executive producer Jae-Hee Kim where the date was stated as releasing early 2018. Despite the date changes we are all still here and more hyped then we ever have been. The issue with where we currently reside is we have been told another date; Fall 2018. We were told that we would receive information if this date wasn't going to be able to be made also. Given the information that was seen in the post-beta video I have seen members of the community start to doubt if we will see the game launched at all during the 2018 year along with key members of the community stating that they are getting tired of being in the dark so much and have given themselves ultimatums for a release date or they leave. We would rather know a solid time frame, even if it has to move a few times to get it done. What we don't want is to figure out that the game isn't going to release when we were told slowly and on our own. So now to the point: We need information on a release date. We love this game and want to be ready for it. With that, people need time to schedule around holidays, work vacation, spending money on the game, and many other things. These are not things that can be planned around on a "we are releasing next week" kind of schedule, and for us to meet a 2018 deadline, like we were told, that's the only option we would have. Hype is easy to keep when you know what is going on but being left in the dark you feel lost and feel like there is no direction, and that is where we are now. If the dates have to move then so be it. Don't let us find out that the game is not coming out Fall 2018 by the last day of the season rolling around. It will only anger the community. If there are packages planned and head start scheduled then let us know. We want to be able to plan out our time playing the launch of Black Desert on the Xbox and that involves information. Information only you can give us. Thanks, The community Edit: I want to reiterate with this post that I know the CM's here on the forum do their best and they are amazing. I have said countless times that the communication during the beta was some of the best I have seen in any game, ever. Period. My goal with this is to address Pearl Abyss and let them know that the community would like information that they can act on and plan with. We are not requesting firm dates. We would like to know what we need to do with holidays coming up. Thanks again.
Gankzy posted a topic in General DiscussionRoughly the same 50 people frequent this forum and not much is being said about a game that is supposed to be launching in the next couple months. No comments on how the game will be monetized, limited footage of the game running, no official launch date and potentially the worst offender; little to no community engagement from the devs. or the community manager. The last thing we heard about this game regarding a release date was that it would be coming out in the first half of 2018 meaning the game is hypothetically supposed to launch in 1-3 months. Just seems like the window for release is getting smaller if you plan on actually generating some sort of interest for the game. This would not be an issue if you were engaging the community with things to be excited about that we could then relay to others within the larger xbox community, but that has not been the case. I want to be excited and encourage others to be excited, but the bits and pieces of information regarding this game and XB1 scattered across the internet are so scarce and few and far between that i honestly don't know what to expect anymore and dont feel appreciated as a consumer. The response is pretty much always "stay tuned and keep an eye on our facebook/social media" but no new information is ever posted and there is no community engagement taking place. I thought this forum/website would evolve the discussion but that has not been the case and no pertinent information can be found here other then "bdo coming to xbox...eventually". I honestly just hope that this is not a sign of things to come once the game has released. Additionally if the game is going to be delayed that is something you should mention sooner rather then later. If the second half of 2018 rolls around and BDO has still not launched on XBO without any word from the devs or community manager, gamers will feel lied to, and that is not a solid foundation to build a relationship on.
