Hi everyone, After playing RBF for over a year now, I find one aspect of the feature lacking. No it's not the excessive lag that comes with instant death by invisible enemies (even though that should be fixed), it's the fact that RBF does not have a ranking system. Hear me me out. Currently the game runs on a RNG system that heavily dictates how fast someone upgrades their gear. I've gotten used to the fact that this is direction the MMORPG industry is moving and I'm ok with that, for now. I feel that this system could be made better by having a ranking system for RBF so that people with a certain gear score or rank get matched with individuals with the same gear score. Now if it is too much to implement for RBF, there is always creating arena based PVP such as 2v2, 3v3 or even 5v5 arenas that match teams with each other depending on the ranking system. This way, if there is a team with a generous gear score, they would not be continually match with a team that does not have the numbers to put up a fight against them. In doing this I feel that there would be less grievances when playing a PVP match. The out come would be that players feel more fulfilled battling someone that they can hold their own against instead of wasting time instantly dying to resurrect and instantly die again. What are your thoughts on this?
So the vicious circle with Kzarka (or any big boss really) is that the folks with the most damage have the best odds for the good prizes - to get the best damage you need the best gear, which comes from the boss. How about splitting the drop RNG between 2 groups? 1.) best performers and 2.) mid/worst with the most hits (thus eliminating ppl from rolling in and getting one shot and getting best prizes) This way you can reward the people that are really trying - it's so discouraging to walk out with a single hunter seal.
So this RNG is driving me nuts. I got my first asula ring from a quest, my second from helms and necklace from abandoned mines. Necklace and second ring probably took a total of 5 hours. Ive literally spent about 20 hours grinding helms since then to try and pick up the earrings and have probably made about 15 mil in just drops but not 1 earring!!!!! Are there any suggestions on how to improve my chances? My node is lvl 2, I have lvl 2 luck, I used the increased drop rate thing that you buy with loyalty (can’t remember the name... looks like a little tree) and I have knowledge on all monsters there and still nothing. Someone suggested buying the underwear to increase luck but I’m pretty sure that I’ve read luck isn’t proven to actually increase rare item drops. I actually think that I would have found it faster to grind for witches earrings!
