  1. Health pots are unbelievably broken. Why should I pvp in a game where I lose to the person I forced to pop 20 health pots. That’s absolutely ridiculous and enough to turn me away from the game. Healing every 3s is broken. People complain about zerker heals while they’ll tele away, heal to full instantly, then pop health pots while you’re combo-ing on them. It’s a terrible mechanic. There are countless in game fights going out there where the person winning is the one spamming their potion hotkey the fastest. I’m losing fights to people with almost 100 pts higher in gear score solely to this right here and that’s beyond frustrating.
  2. This is an updated post that I had in General Discussions but the more I update this more I feel it belongs here under suggestions, not General Discussions. This is a cleaned up version and fully edited for a new post. Things listed in RED things that need immediate attention. Things listed in GRAY have been fixed/addressed and will be edited here on OP Disclaimer: Black Desert is a Korean MMO port from PC. Black Desert started development in 2010 and it was officially released July 14th 2015 in Korea. This is not a new game, just because it's new to XBOX does not mean the game is going to be any different, or should be any different mechanic wise. Yes, the console has limitations, but with proper development time most things can become seamless between versions. As I play on BDX I will keep this posted update with findings as new ideas, content and bugs arrive. Thank you, Nightingale1176 [DoctorStrange] Quality of Life Enhancement Rates - PC players just got this, as a 3 year vet, it was nice to see how bad my chances really were. My suggestion comes for the new players, when they see the fail they need to understand why. While yes we now have charts, and google docs showing this for the most part, new players wont know to look for these. Please see enhancement photo Skip enhancement - this is a big deal to us tin-foilers on PC. While I do notice you have it by double tapping the "x" button later on this could be a very bad way to accidentally degrade your newly found TRI piece of gear. This could be a toggle button so when fail stacking you can just rip stones like we do on PC. Please see enhancement photo Party/Guild Pinging - As a retired PvPer and node war player on PC, Pings were an important part of moving or organizing assaults. Also very helpful when trying to explain to your friends where certain things are or where you can be found to as simple as showing your friend where you park your horse. [ for players who have never played BDO, this a ping that can ONE set your auto path or two can be used to show a Red line in the open world where you are. ] Guild quest funds - This was also just added to PC not too long ago this was a BIG QoL change for questing. Helps make a little silver per quest and rewards players who actually do quests. Everyone gets silver per mob or fish or log or rock collected. This will probably come with the guild update to add payouts and all the current guild changes that are on PC, but this would be good for newer players. Pet Groups - On PC we have 3 buttons to assign pets to 1-2-3, and it will pull out that group of pets. While most won't have this issue right away, From a PC player Stand point we have 3 types of pets: Life, Knowledge, Combat pet groups we use most. You also should have an easy way to select all pets to Agile, Normal and Cautious verses going one by one every time you pull your pets out. Please see pet photo Alchemy/Cooking History - We have a function that lets us recall the last use ingredients down to the number which is helpful when spam cooking the same things over and over. This appears to only put the ingredients in, and not the amounts. Ingredients quantity - It feels like double work to select the ingredients put them in the station then select quantities. PC we just select the item, tell how much we want to put in, and it fills a slot. While I am adjusting to this version, this still feels like double work. Node workers - while the system is different and will take some getting use too, I think some major QoL could be made here too. The menu is cool, but if I want to add a worker on a node you should just let me click the potato node and get to the same menu. The more I use the worker system the more cumbersome it appears to become. PC's version is way more streamlined and this actually needs an overhaul. Things like Sort by town, accessing workers right off the node without having to shuffle through a menu just click on a node and put a worker on it, Show WHAT THE NODES actually are. This needs some SERIOUS help. Please come back and revisit this system. Please see worker photos Worker Cancellations from nodes -Just a small thing that is a big QoL. Having this ability to cancel nodes as you manager you worker empire is big, verses having to go to the worker menu to stop work. Please see worker photo Pop up Alerts -On PC these are VERY annoying. I have everything turned off expect workers, and horses market registrations (T8s/Dream). We really need to be able to turn off other peoples looting, life skills, resets, enhancement fails, Market registrations, guild wars. edit - 04-09-19 still needs more options, I want to see certain things but not turn everything off. Cleansing +15 gear - Please do not make us go through the cancer of making a low level red alt to downgrade gear for fail stacking. Please add the simple NPC already in the PC version, and in the BDX version, just without the cleansing menu. Dish of Poorly Prepared Ingredients - You made a post talking about these not being in game at launch, yet your road map shows Kamasylve in the first "half" of 2019. These need to be in early on so people will have the contribution to do anything in Valencia let alone Kamasylve. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for these to not be in the game right now. [CM] Shirna has stated it was for balance of early game. Yet they allowed Prognyl silver bars, enhanced weapons, armor, and accessories to be in game at launch, not considering the fact it takes about 180 Advanced cooking stations to hit 300 contribution from 200 with a ONE SECOND cook time [absolutely not possible early game] (rough math/RNG drop - about 50 hours of NON-STOP cooking). Please add this next patch. Skill menu - It is stupid I cannot access the skill menu during Auto running/riding to anywhere, cooking or any other activity. On PC I can't tell you how many times I pull up my skill menu to think about things, help friends with skills, see what add-ons I have, change a few skills around while I auto path to my destination, process, cook, fish or anything I'm doing "passively". Locking your 100% - I do not mean locking the actual skill just the ability to toggle it on and off (using the normal skill not the Black Spirit Rage). This was a major QoL change when it came to PC and shouldn't be the hard to bring to BDX. It really annoys me how I just want to save it to absorb when needed but countless amount of times blow the rage on stupid little things, then want it 10 seconds later. Cannot see what items prices are listed at - This is highly annoying when you are trying to look for an item and it says it is available but you have to put a buy order for max or guess and try each price to find where it is listed at. Please find away to show each price and what it is listed for like on PC. (say a Steel Dagger is listed at 3 different prices ranging from 90k - 160k we have to guess at each increase to find where the 3 Steel Daggers are located) Please note Steel Dagger Photo. ***Sorting Bank Storage*** - Self explanatory really. We need the option to sort the storage like we can our inventory. Things are already becoming a nightmare! Please note my bank storage and how all woods are in a nice order and auto arrange is checked. Character Transport - This is not currently in our version but it was so helpful on PC to move characters around where needed. Cannot see exact quantities in Storage - while to the masses who have items less than 1,000 in one stack will see all the digits, it is very annoying as a professional cook/alchemist to NOT see exactly how much I have of an item. I plan things down to the exact station. This is especially true later when I have to physically go out an gather and rarer drop to make an item. I assume you did this for "clutter" reasons but maybe have it expose the full number when you hover over it or just show them at all times. Please see my storage photo - yes that is 100,243 Elder Tree Timber, and 150,219 Palm Timber. Cannot access ring menus while in House - This is annoying when i got to try to feed workers while i'm cooking, or want to reach for my maid because i forgot something and don't want to run all the way back. Could be at least get the option to add the LT rings in so we have limited access? Side note while I do have a work around for the worker menu, it's still awkward to have to think of click on the beer to get to the worker menu. Auto Fishing Trash items - PC has the option to throw away all trash while fishing, this is just QoL for AFK fishing. Horses Abysmal speed in towns - I know this was your fix for some peoples rendering issues, but holy crap I HATE going into towns with my horse because I slow down more than people auto running. Can you at lease let us auto run with our normal speed, and maybe not the active run or sprint? Moving Items direct to bank form Central Market Storage - PC has this and is a much needed QoL when wanting to move stacks of items to your storage NOT being able to leave cut scene when summoning bosses - This is SO ANNOYING. I want to skip it, let him summon in and get ready to fight. Not stand around, picking flowers and get smacked while I am frozen or stuck in my inventory because I couldn't close it out while said boss was summing in. Scrolls stacking and not expiring - pretty straight forward, and major QoL on PC. People have lives, things happen, these scrolls should have been able to stack day one on BDX. Please see scroll photo Choose which Chat you want to monitor - It is defaulted right now to only see Server chat. It's pretty cancerous and toxic. I'd rather look at my guild chat so I can see if anyone asked any questions or said something while I was away instead of going into a menu to see it. More characters in chat - I mean, I'm not trying to write a novel, but BDX isn't twitter. XD Worker Repeat on Workbenches - Not sure if this is a bug or an over site on PA's part but on PC we can set workshop workers to repeat. In BDX we have no option other than check back and start another 1x task. Custom Character Photos - This is small and petty... But I can seriously take better photos than these defaults... plus I'm spoiled from PC being able to do this Locking Items in Inventory - Ability to lock armor, costumes, life skill clothes so they cannot be sold or deleted on accident. Enhance/Durable for green items - This is on PC, lets Greens get to enhancement modes. Enhance lets you play the game as is currently, Durable allows it to take one less durability and allows it to fail more. While i am loving getting easy greens to +15 with less than 20-25 stones, i'm also supper annoyed I can't get an easy +15 stack anymore. Shining Powder - Still missing from the alchemy drop rate. Expecting this to come soon...I hope.. Worker Slots - The +3 lodging for Port Epheria, been out on PC forever, not sure why they are waiting so long to add these. Hot Time - SHOULD BE 6p EDT - 4a EDT just as it is on PC. Hide UI - You should be able to hide UI and use skills move around do anything you want. Not have it kick back the second you move. Bugs Long Delay from closing Inventory and not being able to move - Not sure if this is a bug or if you have some weird timer on it. I should be able to instantly go in and out of my inventory. This has been in since beta and gets very annoying to deal with. There is no item bug - This happens all the time. The only current fix is to log out to character select and log back in. This also happens with the Central Market taking and putting items from the market. Market Place Registration notification bug - It appears when some one lists an item, the notification pops up 3-6 times. I noticed this when i saw 6 Shudad costumes for the same class get posted within seconds of each other. Then check and only 1 is listed. Processing Outfit not working from storage - this is bugged and needs to be fixed ASAP Processing from Bank infinitely - As of 03-27-19 while using the cash shop Processing outfit you can "indefinitely" process. Meaning once Either weight or Materials have all been used your character will not stop the processing animation. Sharps and Hards rarely if at all dropping - As of last small fix I have spent 600 energy on 1 character and have yet to get a sharp or hard drop while I am using Luck Shining tools, +5 gather, and +5 luck. Any repeat All button is missing - Example while cooking you can see to select "once" but hidden from view is the "batch/all" button is hidden. While it CAN still be selected its graphically messed up as of last minor maintenance. Missing NPC - Epil Tanbu is missing and needed to get the energy in Tarif. Chat Duplications - Chat seems to duplicate different things at random. Will see 2 - 3 x of the same item appear at in a row.
  3. Greetings, Ghillie suit is up which is nice but I can only buy a full kit - armor set + weapons. I dont want to buy the weapons since the armor set gives all the necessary benefits, the weapons are pure cosmetic which imo are ugly as hell Is it possoble to add the option to purchase the set partially? Might be able to save a few bucks that way a actually customize my char as I see fit EDIT: Wrong section, sorry. Please move to suggestions. Cheers
  4. So as new classes release and i want to switch to another would I be able to transfer my life skills progress? I think many ppl would like this and I really dont want to do all the life skills grinding on every single character I am playing at the moment. Its kinda pulling me of the game. Consider adding some pearl shop consumable that allows you to choose character you want to transfer your life skills progress to cause ppl will quit eventually
  5. I have played BDO KR and BDO English on PC. I am disappointed with some of the lack of features that the xbox version has. Here's some I would like to see changed. You rarely get loot. It's starting to annoy me. You dont even get coins. I was lucky enough to get a 8×azula axe for Baserker. From just farming khunum! Loot system broken? Cause I dont get coins or gear just random stuff. And rarely. Also I wanted to sell my friends a pet (the marketplace has over 1k bids). I suggest a trade system in the market. Where you can delegate who the item goes to. That's all I can think of for now. Thanks for making a great game.
  6. So far the beta is going well, as a PC player I'm a little awkward with the game still but it feels familiar. With this post here are things I find that need to be addressed either for quality of life or for performance/function. Everything here is already in the PC version of Black Desert, these are just things that make BDO better on PC. We have auto pathing on BDX, but no auto looping functions. This was added some time after launch on PC, but was a major QoL changed. You have weight to train, stamina to train on your characters, Horses take a very long time to level higher levels ( all be it T5/6 isn't that bad but T7/8/Dream do) On PC it's just a simple button to press once you selected you path. This will infinite loop till you stop it or you DC. @Aradonaisan Showed it is LT+X but it's written as "Move To" should be named Auto Loop. Red Nose quest scroll, needs to be instanced like other boss scrolls, or relic scrolls so you do not see 20-50 other players trying to do the same thing at launch. Last thing you want to see is the wrong red circle on the ground. Enhancement Rates, PC players just got this, as a 3 year vet, it was nice to see how bad my chances really were. My suggestion comes for the new players, when they see the fail they need to understand why. While yes we now have charts, and google docs showing this for the most part, new players wont know to look for these. Skip enhancement, this is a big deal to us tin-foilers on PC. While I do notice you have it by double tapping the "x" button later on this could be a very bad way to accidentally degrade your newly found TRI piece of gear. This could be a toggle button so when fail stacking you can just rip stones like we do on PC. Looting with Y/Interacting, you should have no delay in the time I hit Y to the time it loots. On pc we just double tap R and its looted or R and it reads/skips. [CM]Shirna gave good response to this. Plus I noticed it auto loots once the button has been pressed. Party/Guild Pinging - As a retired PvPer and node waring player on PC, Pings were an important part of moving or organizing assaults. Also very helpful when trying to explain to your friends where certain things are or where you can be found to as simple as showing your friend where you park your horse. [ for players who have never played BDO, this a ping that can ONE set your auto path or two can be used to show a Red line in the open world where you are. ] Guild quest funds, This was also just added to PC not too long ago this was a BIG QoL change for questing. Helps make a little silver per quest and rewards players who actually do quests. Everyone gets silver per mob or fish or log or rock collected. Pet Groups, Now i haven't messed with this too much to see if i'm overlooking this, on PC we have 3 buttons to assign pets to 1-2-3, and it will pull out that group of pets. While most won't have this issue right away, From a PC player Stand point we have 3 types of pets: Life, Knowledge, Combat pet groups we use most. Special Deals, I THINK this isn't in the beta because no one has money to really buy anything. On PC this is where you split loot with your friends as you grind and it sells with no market taxes but it divided equally between the amount of players in the party at the time. This may also be something to do with the new Market coming to PC on the 20th (next Wednesday) so cant say for sure if Special deals will be removed till then. As the Market released today (20th of Feb), We can party and get the special deals to show up. Will have to wait for launch to see if this makes it in game. So my running theory, is they didn't put this in for beta due to lack silver in game. Alchemy/Cooking History, We have a function that lets us recall the last use ingredients down to the number which is helpful when spam cooking the same things over and over. This appears to only put the ingredients in, and not the amounts. Ingredients quantity, It feels like double work to select the ingredients put them in the station then select quantities. PC we just select the item, tell how much we want to put in, and it fills a slot. Node workers, while the system is different and will take some getting use too, I think one small QoL could be made here too. The menu is cool, but if I want to add a worker on a node you should just let me click the potato node and get to the same menu. ^ Edit 03-05-19 The more I use the worker system the more cumbersome it appears to become. PC's version is way more streamlined and this actually needs a overhaul. Things like Sort by town, accessing workers right off the node without having to shuffle through a menu just click on a node and put a worker on it, Show WHAT THE NODES actually are. This needs some SERIOUS help "Screen Shake" , I like to feel a little epic from time to time, its just over done for a general setting. If you cannon provide a slider to dial in the amount you want like PC, then you need to give 2-3 options like: None, Little, Some, All. Before I cross this off while it is toned down from the final beta I still want more control over this. I know you the company want a certain look, but this isn't your call its the players, the viewers on streams call, if it makes them sick, let them adjust how much they want. Yes it makes skills look great but after a few minutes it gets annoying. Other players effects, Just going to put this in because i know the days coming where siege will be slide show like PC. You will need a setting to turn on and off other players effects. Edit - Before I mark out Other players effects I personally want to see larger scale battles on my personal xbox before I cross out. [CM]Shirna stated this is set to do just that but I haven't had to much come up were things got super bad. I just know this is still a pretty big issue on PC, so we turn our effects off before large fights. Black Stone drop rate, Not sure if its just the beta or a bug, but these guys are abysmal to get right now. Maybe I'm use to how things are on PC, but these could use a boost in the drop rate. Worker Cancelations from nodes, Just a small thing that is a big QoL. Having this ability to cancel nodes as you manager you worker empire is big, verses having to go to the worker menu to stop work. No Screenshot function? Not sure i'm missing something but I don't see a way to screen shot, or hide UI for special screen shots. Is this just not in Beta or is this not in BDX yet? (on PC its CTRL+U hides UI) then print screen takes your screenshot [CM]Shirna pointed this out below how to do our "Hide UI" function - Photo Mode with ring menus Long Delay from closing Inventory and not being able to move - Not sure if this is a bug or if you have some weird timer on it. I should be able to instantly go in and out of my inventory. Edit ^ - I have been able to replicate this multiple times coming out of inventory and not being able to move for 3-5 seconds after, nothing seems to work right away. So i think this can be called a bug, this doesn't seem intended. ^Edit 03-02-19 - Yesterday I cannot tell you how many times this almost killed me where I get stuck and cannot move after I open my inventory (intentional or by accident) this really needs to be address soon. As i continue the beta I will add things below this line of additional things i find or think of. New form Original Post: Pop up Alerts, On PC these are VERY annoying. I have everything turned off expect workers, and horses market registrations (T8s/Dream). We really need to be able to turn off other peoples looting, life skills, resets, enhancement fails, Market registrations, guild wars. While we aren't experiencing this during the beta, come launch this will be a common occurrence. ^ Edit 02/21/19 - With Central Market being release we have no more market registrations, in chat, or above as a header. Once PRI - PEN comes This will be the dominate header coming up for people failing TRI and TETs. ^Edit 03/01/19 - Pearl items still pop up i want to have an option to turn these off its annoying. If you wont get rid of them turn off the "boop" noise they have. Chat Filter for Names, I sent a ticket (got a response just saying sorry for the inconvenience) on this and made a independent post (to see what other players were getting) but I want to see a response that something has been changed before launch on the 1st of march or it's going to suck for a lot of players who cant use their desired family or character names. Chat Filter is overly sensitive to names, that are harmless but do contain some words that aren't appropriate out of context. They have fixed this on release and is way more lax now! Thanks Pearl Abyss. Cleansing +15 gear, Please do not make us go through the cancer of making a low level red alt to downgrade gear for fail stacking. Please add the simple NPC already in the PC version, and in the BDX version, just without the cleansing menu. Camera View, This would be nice to be able to zoom out a bit more than the default PoV. This would come in handy for PvP as well as being helpful for some classes as they grind. ^ edit - further than what max is at launch. Dish of Poorly Prepared Ingredients - You made a post talking about these not being in game at launch, yet your road map shows Kamasylve in the first "half" of 2019. These need to be in early on so people will have the contribution to do anything in Valencia let alone Kamasylve. ***POST LAUNCH FINDS*** There is no item bug - I have had this to me a few times now in 24 hours where I have items in different town storage and I go to pull an item(or items) out and it says "There is no item" when I clearly see the item. It fixes when I go to the character select menu. ^ side note 03-07-19 : This is really getting annoying having to watch my BSR like a hawk in the game. I can never just zone out and wait for when i need to absorb it (like in PvP or an elite i need to nuke) I either have to blow it and absorb it or wast it on my 100% skill. Market Place Registration notification bug - It appears when some one lists an item, the notification pops up 3-6 times. I noticed this when i saw 6 Shudad costumes for the same class get posted within seconds of each other. Then check and only 1 is listed. Cannot see what items prices are listed at - This is highly annoying when you are trying to look for an item and it says it is available but you have to put a buy order for max or guess and try each price to find where it is listed at. Please find away to show each price and what it is listed for like on PC. (say a Steel Dagger is listed at 3 different prices ranging from 90k - 160k we have to guess at each increase to find where the 3 Steel Daggers are located) Sorting Bank Storage - Self explanatory really. We need the option to sort the storage like we can our inventory. Things are going to become such a headache in a few weeks. ^ side note - 5 days in already a nightmare. Items Not Stacking In Storage - If you have say 30 carrots and you put some items in your storage and later add 20 more carrots they do not go into the same sack. This happens when inventory de-syncs. Has happened several times to me today. This is a bug and needs to be addressed soon. Character Transport - This is not currently in our version but it was so helpful on PC to move characters around where needed. Processing Outfit not working from storage - this is bugged and needs to be fixed ASAP Cannot see exact quantities in Storage - while to the masses who have items less than 999 in one stack will see all the digits, it is very annoying as a professional cook/alchemist to NOT see exactly how much I have of an item. Can you at lease let us auto run with our normal speed, and maybe not the active run or sprint?
  7. Good Morning, I very rarely enjoy drawing attention to myself as I am not one of those people that relish the notion of gaming fame. I prefer to keep to myself and small circle of social friends, something that I learned when I achieved notoriety in previous games. Though I am so impressed with the beta that I have dared to leave comment. First Impressions The game is overwhelming when you first set foot on the realm and right from the beginning you find yourself bombarded with the sheer depth this game has to offer. Trying to perform simple tasks from other MMOs would then yield a more options than you were ever expecting. I feel a sense of nostalgia with MMOs of the past and not the heavily watered down versions we see these days catering to newer generations shorter attention spans. It was pleasing that upon catching fish I was given the option of what to do with it (granted we were unable to sell raw fish), from drying to preparing a variety of differing meals. Every aspect of the game I approached I found myself bombarded with more options that required further research. Whilst some may be quick to dismiss this as being overly complicated I find this approach very much appreciated as it provides different endgame avenues that because of its depth won't feel like a filler. There is so much of these additional side options known collectively as 'Life Skills' that it will be very difficult to easily introduce new players to this game. How can you honestly expect to fit years of development into the first few hours of game play without overloading the player. Though I believe the initial starting tutorial is sufficient to get people on their way. Performance / Game play Despite my xbox being magically in NA through black magic, I found that I had no issues with connection or even lag. This I found rather surprising and overly optimistic of how much smoother the game will be on EU servers at full launch. I was able to continue my ventures in the world in some of the most densely packed combat zones with everyone spamming any attack they could remember with no perceived frame drops or lag. All this from a BETA on a distant server is something to be praised. Graphically it would be unfair to comment as despite the options saying 4K, it was only an up scaling, then again at only 23gb download can't really expect more than that. For the visuals in game though, taking those very first bright new steps into the world and then spending several minutes looking at the video settings was something that all of us will remember. I am sure there will be more options to amend graphics at full release, so this is not an overly big concern. Despite these things the game looks beautiful already, the level of detail in the scenery to the way the world is populated with its creatures and AI. It gives a better feeling of an actual living world rather than soulless AI waiting for you to give them something to do. I was even amazed that the blacksmith had gone to bed when I needed to repair my gear. The game does a very good job at making every aspect look and feel more believable. I chose to play as a wizard mostly because in my aging years I no longer find it interesting to be top dps etc and from my research the wizard/witch are the closest you can come to making a support/healer in this game. An aspect of which I tried out with a random group at the shrine south of the BETA map. It was easier to discern party HP and I found the healing abilities where smart enough to target the ally if I looked in the general direction. Then in between healing I would get to drop nukes with spectacular visuals that make the game more pleasing to behold. Suggestions When looking objectively at the BETA it is difficult to discern what will and won't be available at full launch and I found myself referencing the PC version frequently to gain more insight. Currently the concerns I have for the game there are options available on PC to amend to my pleasing, so I can only assume that they will also be present at launch. A few things that I did find that I would like tweaking would be the following: Skill Menu - Please change 'Learn' to either 'Learnt' or 'Known'. This was initially confusing as I was trying to learn a skill from the main setting. As the game progressed I just found it more of an irritation. The layout of the skill menu in general I can understand is easier to navigate as apposed to the PC variant and given how seldom people will spend in there I can't really make a solid case to make it similar to the PC. Processing/Manufacturing - I would like to suggest that once we have achieved the required knowledge as in the recipe turns blue. That it would be a nice feature to be able to click on the blue recipe for it to automatically pull the required materials from inventory, rather than having to do it manually. A feature that I learned from fishing, given the multiple different species caught then had me going back and forth selecting the ingredients over and over. Node Manager - Please add an option to find these guys, also some of the times, looking for the arms dealer would lead me to the blacksmith (Heidal, being the example). Though especially when working on my mini empire and visiting nodes, I was struggling to find them. Imagine my surprise that one node manager was a giant rock and not a person. Summary Overall I have been really impressed with the BETA to the point that I am already feeling withdrawal symptoms knowing that my adventures will be cut short rather soon. The level of assistance in game is remarkable with regular announcements and GM conversations. This gives the feeling that the company really care about the game and its players and reminds of the great MMOs of the past where you could literally summon a GM to you in order to help with issues. I have never played a BETA that has left me engaged and wanting to continuously play more. I applaud the efforts its taken to convert this game into a console edition and eagerly await the announcement that you are launching the game one hour after the BETA ends. Thank you for reading
  8. It would be nice to have a toggle to show Gamertags instead of character names. I always find it so much easier to find/search for people on their gamertag instead of all their character names. It would also be good to be able to change or hide the chat window. And the orange server chat is very difficult to read on most backgrounds, it would be nice to be able to change the colours so its easier to read.
  9. So yesterday I got to play one of the most anticipated games I've been looking towards. This game in my opinion is unlike anything I have ever played on the system and I do in fact enjoy it. I do have some things I would suggest to change. I will list and put my reasoning sow. With it as well. -A lock on system: I spent about 10 hours yesterday grinding through and enjoyed the heck out of the combo system that is here. The one problem I kept on coming to was in fact this. I would try to attack an enemy and do some of my charged attacks and completely avoid them. I want to say this should be a focus to apply into the game if possible. -Feeedom in customization: What I mean by this is post CAC. I think it would be amazing if you were able to change the armor colors and even the clothing at that. I do enjoy the CAC alot but I feel this should be implemented in. -Ease for console: the one thing that was incredibly frustrating to me yesterday was trying to get my friends to join me. I get that this is a PC Port but I would think the utilization of having friends for the OS should be plain and simple. My last thing I want to talk about is something that the PC does not have as well. -No Race restrictions: it's 2018... I think this could be something to look and implement in the main game. That is pretty much it. The only other thing I was thinking was adding a great amount of servers but I did notice that change. Thank you for whoever reads this. This was just my feedback on an awesome title.
  10. I started playing the Xbox One Beta, and I would definitely suggest to add the option to tone down the shadows. I don't know if it's the same for everyone, but they're harsh on the Xbox One X. I understand that they had to fiddle with the graphics to work on a console, but I have no doubt this could be a problem addressed. Also it wouldn't hurt to be able to change the size of the UI as well. ;)
  11. Hey guys ! It would be fun that everytime you're in a Party on Xbox with your friends or even outside of the Party, when you receive an invite you could join his squad in the game instead of trying to find him in the world. It would depends if the squad is on private or public ! Hope you like it ! 😁 JollyCooperation !

    Boss Timers

So, in BDO the bosses spawn in every channel at once and spawn within a "window". So you're never sure of EXACTLY when it will spawn. This can be hard to track, especially for new players who are less familiar with respawn times. I know that it adds to the "competitive" aspect of the game a little bit, but even for veteran players on PC this type of timer can be pretty annoying. I think it would be good to take away the spawn window and just have the bosses respawn after set times. This takes the confusion and useless waiting around out of the equation, and lets players prepare for the bosses without wasting any time. I would also suggest having the spawns staggered throughout channels, but that would just be a bonus that would allow players to make it to more bosses because all of them wouldn't spawn while you're sleeping or at work. And by staggered I mean like Ch1, ch3, and ch5 red nose spawns at 1:00 AM, ch2, ch4, and ch6 spawns at 6:00 PM. Staggering every single channel and only having one boss up at a time would be bad, because then too many people would be at the same boss at once. But staggered this way or in a similar way that would be less of an issue, while still allowing players who have different schedules to attend.

    Build Ideas

As a new player to BDO, I will begin feverishly pursuing information related to game progression and strategy...as soon as we get a release date. Up to that point, my research will be on a casual basis and whenever I might find myself bored at work. In the link(very long link) below, I used the BDO planner as well as some info from various sources to come up with a "build" for my wizard. Please feel free review and comment if this looks like a viable endgame build for pvp content and how long should I expect it to take to reach this point. Looking for tips and pointers from those with game experience please. https://bdoplanner.com/save/[[7],[10853,0,[15221,-1]],[10854,0,[15804,-1]],[10856,0,[15640,-1]],[10839,0,[15809,-1]],[[12007,0],[12007,0]],[[11808,0],[11808,0]],[12210,0],[11607,0],[14410,0,[15818,15818]],[14815,0],[10309,0,[15654,-1]],[45232],[19001,[15641]],[19394],[22371],[22399],[19363]] PS: Some of the info/gear maybe outdated and may not even be in the Xbox version...time will tell.
  14. So on PC there is a party finder function already, but it's not that great. I would suggest being able to share the party recruitment message in channel chat, with information like Recruiting for Sausans 56+ [Party 3/5] with the area in brackets being something players can select to automatically join directly from the chat message. That way the party finder isn't just sort of..hidden in the menu, and players will constantly be seeing potential groups they could go join. One of my biggest complaints as a veteran player is that party play is just really not encouraged in most of the game. You spend a lot of time doing things by yourself. This is because, grinding as a party is just less efficient. EXP is cut dependent on how many members you have in your party, and grind spots aren't endless, so you're sometimes stuck to the same small amount of mobs that you would clear as a 2 man party, but with a 5 man party. Your drops are also split between all of the members, so you make much less money. I really think the party EXP penalty should just be removed. Why would you want to implement a mechanic that makes players not want to play together and team up in an MMO? Makes no sense. It would be great to have pros and cons for both solo and party grinding. Without the EXP penalty, solo grinding would still be better for money and party grinding would be better for EXP.
