They need to remove randomness (RNG)

they really need to remove randomness from this game its completely unrealistic and remove any skill in this game you might have.

it's like say you go to work for 8 hours.. you then get a pay check and decide you want to buy a car as your one is old.... so you go to a dealer (like the enchantment system) you decide you want to buy this car and you have the money and you see the price. you then say to the dealer I want to buy this car heres the money...

but the dealer says ok and takes your money and your current car (again enchantment system) then dealer gets a dice and says ok if you roll a 6 you can buy this car.... so dealer rolls and you get a 4.... dealer then says... ok thanks for trying come back for another try later (failing an enchant)

you then say wait what? the car is right there I have the money to buy it right now yet you taken my money and my current car (when you fail and your weapon downgrades) dealer says... sorry you didn't roll a 6.... try again next time...

you see how stupid the system sounds?

if you got your weapon and you got the materials you should be able to upgrade with 100% chance no fail stacking B.S and no random chance as its completely insane and stupid to rely on a chance...

you think in the olden days the king would roll a dice on weather or not his soldiers would get new weapons or armor and if he fails the soldiers would get downgraded to peasants? 

it's hard to explain but surely someone should see the logic here....

if you got the materials then there should be no randomness just skill required and you should have 100% chance to upgrade and no failing and no downgrading it's a stupid and pointless system.

What logic? There is no logic here. You are trying to attribute a game to real life. You want that, go play Sims. 

RNG is going nowhere, not now, not ever.

Not much a fan of the analogy, but agree it sucks. 

You can failstack and hit +15 six times in a row at 2%, but fail DUO at 40% six times in a row. The percentage is a lie up to a certain point.

I wish they would just make that actual and not some hidden garbage. Showing my 50 stack is max at a certain level would be great and not just a "rumored" stack size cap.

If you want to attribute it to real life (even though it's magic), fine. You take your blade to the blacksmith and pay him and provide the materials for the blade to be smelted down and reforged. However the oil became contaminated, the bellows got a hole in them, so the fire never got hot enough during the reforge. The hammer head was banged to crap on cooling metal and now leaves divets all over the new blade which has weak areas throughout.

You want to try again, thats fine. But you already went through the money you spent on the smiths time, and so it will require more, not to mention more materials to fix up the forge first.

Deal with it.

50% doesn't mean you get it every second time.

If not rng, most people wouldn't have anything to aim for.

Have I failed over 50 tries of tet? Yep. But BDO was always huge rng game, so it doesn't really matter for me, at some point it will go up.

Ridiculous analogy! You aren't buying the item outright if you were you would be guaranteed to get the item you desire.

If you want to use a car dealer to make an analogy it would be more like. You take your car to a garage and offer a trade in for a better car. The car dealer then says okay I'll offer you a bet. I'll put 10 numbers in this hat and you choose 2. If you pick the correct number I'll give you this brand new car, if not you get that old model sitting over there. If I win I'll let you choose 3 numbers the next time you want to trade in a car.

So what you're asking is to take your old car into a car dealer and trade it in for a better model everytime for free.

I personally think the enhancement system needs reworked to offer a bigger chance not to downgrade (like 50/50). I also don't like that accessories get destroyed and think they should downgrade instead. This isn't going to change though because they make too much money from costume melting and artisans memories.

Im not touching this one, its game of rng so thats why i rock duo luck of fortuna 3 piece set , lucky underwear, luck stones in my gear, lucky tools , im sure my luck is +9 or close to it lol.

Can’t you guarantee an enchantment will succeed by using a ridiculous number of stones anyway? I know it wrecks durability but that can be repaired.

Rng is just the new drug. It was awful in Destiny and BDO takes it to a new level. IMO it's way too much like on the enchancement system where you actually downgrade a lot more than getting the desired update to keep up with the 24/7 players who wreck everything in PvP. And then it costs a lot of silver and real money too to upgrade boss gear. On consoles we have to buy outfits to get cron stones cause the CM is empty. It's 30 bucks to protect your item from a downgrade one time and RNG isn't helping here. I'm totally OK with RNG on drops. But keeping players away from progress through RNG and a paywall is absolutly not cool.

Looked it up no where does it say there is more than +5 max luck. Where do you even get your info or are you just trolling?
