How do you manage your workers?

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody,

I'm trying to manage my workers and I have to admit that it is more than uncomfortable to manage them.

I have no overview of which workers at which node performs what work. The only thing I can see (setting ring menu) is that the worker (as an example) comes from Velia and collects. Which worker that is exactly and at which node he works and what he collects exactly I can not recognize.

Maybe I have also overlooked a certain function that allows me to do so and would be glad if someone could tell me this.

Thanks in advance

The worker system is kinda bad that way. There's also no way to tell which nodes you've got production investments into without click on each node itself and manually checking the. So if you promote a worker, which will cancel out their previous assignment. You must then go to the map and randomly click nodes until you find the work node to reapply the worker to it's task. Sadly it's this way for both pc and console. Really needs some kind of resource listing and a over all general notice of who's doing what and where.

It SUCKS

I have 2 workers with the same lvl, race, node ect. but they have different skills. For example, I can not see at a workshop which skills the worker has, but that is crucial. You can not even tell from the order in the selection. Now I've picked the wrong worker (50-50 rng style) and MUST wait 45min. until he has done the job and then can only select the other worker. That's pretty thought-out and damned annoying. That must be known and urgently changed.

Mr. Developer we need a kind of mouse over function to recognize what skills the worker has. Thanks

You can see how much time the job takes when you first select the worker.

Nearly all of my workers at each city have slightly different speeds.

My fastest have plus 3 armor, looks at time, etc.

True. The system is a mess. Only few nodes actually state what kind of work is being done in the worker management window.

One way to overcome this is to look for the yellow bar and estimate how much % its roughly on and compare it with the circle above the node. Thats how i do it atleast.

A better system would let us cancel the work when accessing the node it self and manage it from there OR have a detailed name description in the management window. I think i made a suggestion for that a while back but eh.
